What Buffered is.
Buffered LLC is a one-person consultancy based in Hendersonville, Tennessee. I work with small businesses across Sumner County and the Nashville metro on the websites that customers actually use to find them, judge them, and decide whether to call.
The work splits into three things, all written down before you commit. A free written audit that tells you what's broken and what isn't. A fixed-price fix scoped from the audit, with the price and timeline agreed in writing before any work begins. Optional monthly care, month-to-month, with thirty days notice to cancel.
The audit comes before the proposal. Always.
Most agencies pitch a contract first and discover the real problems while billing for them. Buffered does the diagnosis in writing, free, and the proposal is a single page at the end of the audit. The work that gets done is the work the audit called for, and you have the audit itself as a written record whether you hire me or not.
Pricing is fixed before the work starts. No retainers required. No discovery phase billed by the hour. No surprise invoices for "out of scope." If the work turns out to need more than the proposal called for, that's on me to absorb, not on you.
If the fit isn't there, I'll say so in the audit and point you at someone better suited. The audit is yours to keep either way.
